Item Description: The Job Includes: 01. Cleaning & greasing of all Rail & Rail sleepers joints. 02. Lubricating & adjusting switches. 03. Tightening loose track components. 04. Removing weeds/grass and spraying herbicides along the tracks. 05. Patrolling/ Track walking during monsoon. 06. Replacing broken sleepers on plant officers' instructions in consultation & co-ordination with railways. 07. Obtaining clearance certificate from local railway authorities once in a quarter and submission to plant officers. 08. Record keeping of track maintenance. 09. Other miscellaneous jobs with respect to track maintenance to be taken care of. 10. Major discrepancies observed to be reported to plant officers. Note: 1. Minimum one retired/resigned railways personal with minimum five years' experience in track maintenance is required for above mentioned job. 2. Party to visit site before bidding to get the exact quantum and nature of work.
