Description : The Government Of Karnataka Is Implementing Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayi Yojana-Watershed Development Component (Pmksy-Wdc) In The State. Pmksy-Wdc Is In Operation In All The Districts Of The State, With The Financial Assistance From The Department Of Land Resources, Ministry Of Rural Development, Govt. Of India And Govt. Of Karnataka In The Ratio Of 60:40. Implementation Of Batch-Iv Project Is Already Under Work Phase In Kolar Taluk. It Involves Very Large No. Of Departmental And Ngo Staff At Different Levels And Community Based Organizations At Grass Root Level. Capacity Building Of All These Stake Holders Is The Backbone For Successful Implementation Of This Project. In This Backdrop Watershed Development Department (Wdd) Intends To Partner With Ngos In Implementing The Programme. Ngos Are Expected To Perform Tasks Related To Training Of Shg Members And Asset-Less For Income Generation Activities In The Project Area.
