Item Description: Providing and fixing Armstrong make Channelled wood works perforated panels of width 128192 mm thickness of 16mm and length 2440 mm or as required by the Architect approving Engineer made of a high density particle board substrate with a laminated facing as per the approved shade species finish and a melamine balancing layer on the reverse side The boards shall have a special perforation pattern where the visible surface has a Helmholtz fluted perforation of 2mm width and 14mm of visible panel 4mm width and 28mm visible panel each The panels shall provide a minimum sag resistance of RH90 and a fire rating class of 1 as per part 7 of BS476 The edge of the panels shall be tongue and grooved to receive special clips for installation The back of the perforated panel shall have sound absorbing non woven acoustical fleece 50mm 32KgM3 glass wool wrapped in cotton bags to be fixed between GI framework and Wooden planks The panel shall be mounted on special aluminum splines using clips provided and approved by Architect Engineer In charge Installation Install GI framework consist of GI intermediate channel fixed at 1220mm CC vertically and GI ceiling section to be fixed perpendicularly to the intermediate channel at 450mm CC horizontally Install the first set of wooden panels by inserting the clips for border channelled wood works and insert the groove of the panel into the projecting flange of the aluminium clip Continue installing rows of panels by inserting the tongue into grooves of the earlier inserted panel and progressively installing clip for inside channelled wood works into the next batten till the actual height is achieved Use clips for border channelled wood works to finish the installation
