Item Description: Supply only Chlorine gas for treatment of water at Main pump House and Swimming pool from M/s Tamilnadu petrolium products limited Manali, Chennai, Karwar, M/S Tranvancore Cochin Chemical Ltd, Cochin, M/s Centrury Rayan Ltd, Mumbai, M/s Chemplast, Metturdam (or) Through their authorised dealers complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Empty Chlorine cylinder will be issued by the department for filling gas.Transportation, handling, fixing and removing in chlorination plants with safety as per IS safety norms, shall be the responsibility of the contractor. The cylinders are subjected to Hydrostatic stretch test at pressutre of 30 kg/sqcm as required under rule-35 of the gas cylinders rules 2004, Filling ratio should not exceed 1:19 for the chlorine of the water capacity of the each container by weight. The contractor shall be responsible for safe handling, safe storing, safe transportation on explosive licenced special vehicle with caution/ safety notice board affixed on both sides of the truck. The contractor shall be resposible for all claims, counter claims, on event of any mishap occuring directly or indirectly during transit and while stocking at site. Contractor shall produce all statutory certificates as required by the statutory authorities. Tamilnadu petroproducts and Govt of india petrolium explosive of the organization. The rate quoted by the tenderer shall be inclusive of the above provision. No additional/extra payment on this account is admissible.
