Item Title: 1 Weather Tight Doors, Hatches and Scuttles
Item Description: Carry out 100 % survey of, 24 in nos. weather tight doors, 22 in nos. hatches, 02 in nos. cargo hatches and 14 in nos. scuttles for proper closing. Clips to be dismantled, cleaned, lubricated and refitted. Renew the rubber beading coaming and carry out chalk test in presence of class surveyor. Total length of coaming -350mtrs. Firm to cater for (a) WT doors/ hatches-25m, 40 mmx 5 mm (b) WT doors- 15m, 40mmx 5 mm (c) WT doors- 15 m, 30 mmx 5 mm (d) door - hatch clips/ handle- 40 nos (e) double skin door inner plate- 06 doors (f) asbestos square coaming- 40 mtr (g) hinges- 40 nos Note:Coaming to be replaced with silicon rubber type as per LWT(W) observation for better water tight integrity. Certificate of material to be submitted . Mat -Firm supply. DO as per defect serial. Chalk test be proved post renewal of silicon rubber beadingsunder supervision of class surveyor. Firm to submit class report. silicon rubber beading and Material- Firm supply.Repairs/ renewals on doors, hatches and scuttles if any against AWRF. All in way jobs included.
