1. Used engine Oil has been generated during routine servicing, repair and maintenance of motor vehicles and other weaponized/mechanical Equipment. The oil became unserviceable after prolonged operational use and periodic replacement as per technical maintenance schedules. 2. A total quantity of 5541 Litres of used engine oil has been accumulated over time and is presently lying in authorised storage under safe custody. The material is no longer fit for further operational use and has been declared as scrap/surplus for disposal. Accordingly, the same is proposed to be disposed of through GeM Portal Auction in accordance with existing Government/Defence disposal procedures and environmental safety norms.
